I believe that honesty, trust and commitment are crucial for therapy to be successful. I promise to bring those things into the therapy space together as well as hold you accountable for those traits too.

Session Fees & Insurance

  • My rate for out-of-network sessions are:

    • 15 Minute Consultation - $0

    • Individual Intake - $145

    • Individual Therapy - $130

    • Couples Therapy Intake - $175

    • Couples Therapy Session - $150

    Payment is accepted in the form of credit card only. I manage all billing and payment through the secure online client portal, Therapy Notes. You will be charged at the end of each session.

  • In order to make therapy more accessible, I accept the following commercial insurance plans:

    • Aetna

    • United Healthcare

    If you are not covered by an insurance I work with, I can provide you with a detailed statement called a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Although this is accepted by some insurance companies, I cannot guarantee any or all reimbursements.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that details how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This will be provided to you, upon request, prior to starting services.

  • While I tailor every session to my client’s needs, I prefer to use:

    • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) - Skills for tolerating distress and regulating emotions

    • Gottman Method - Relational tools for couples

    • Christian Counseling - spiritual integration of faith and therapy

  • I work with adults, individuals and couples facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relational difficulties and life transitions. My goal is to help my clients rediscover joy, connection and purpose.

  • I currently accept United Healthcare and Aetna. If you have a different provider, I’m happy to provide a “superbill” for you to request reimbursement.

  • Yes - I offer virtual, hybrid and in-office sessions (at our office in Metairie) so you can choose what works best for you.

  • Yes - if you value a faith based perspective, I’m happy to include prayer, spiritual reflection and Christian values in our sessions. My approach balances therapeutic techniques with compassion, hope and faith.

  • All sessions are strictly confidential and protected under professional ethical guidelines as outlined by the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners and the National Association of Social Workers.

    We also use a secure electronic health record system and client portal for communication and scheduling.
