Hi, I’m Kandis!
I know life is hard. That is why I am passionate about helping others to process their feelings so they can find joy in everyday life.
As your therapist, I commit to meeting you where you are and giving you the space to feel your feelings without judgement. I believe that honesty, trust and commitment are crucial for therapy to be successful. I promise to bring those things into the therapy space as well as hold you accountable for those traits too.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that details how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This will be provided to you, upon request, prior to starting services.
-
In order to make therapy more accessible, I accept the following commercial insurance plans:
Aetna
United Healthcare
If you are not covered by an insurance I work with, I can provide you with a detailed statement called a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Although this is accepted by some insurance companies, I cannot guarantee any or all reimbursements.

Yes - I work with both individuals and couples.
-
Your first session is an intake where we talk about your history, symptoms, current challenges, and what you hope to change. It’s a safe, confidential space to share your story, ask questions, and begin building a personalized plan to help you heal from burnout.
-
Every person’s journey is different. Some people feel relief in just a few weeks; others find meaningful change over months of consistent work. Therapy for burnout focuses on steady progress rather than quick fixes, helping you build skills that last.

We can discuss medication if you want to — many clients find therapy helpful alongside medication, while others begin with therapy alone. I won’t prescribe medication (that’s done by a psychiatrist or primary care provider), but I can help you understand options and support coordination with other providers.
